Sean Coleman, Software Efficiency Strategist, Lean Fix

Sean Coleman

Software Efficiency Strategist

Having a long history of entreprenuership, Sean Coleman started a succesful graphic design company in 2002 providing custom logo design for small and medium businesses. The business eventually expanded into website design and consulting.

In 2004, Sean started attending Arizona State University as a Computer Systems Engineering, BSE. In addition to enrolling as a full-time student, Sean worked part-time as a Technolgy Analyst for ASU. Despite being actively involved in the department, Sean was intrigued by the lack of efficiency that seemed to spread across the campus. In addition, he was surprised to see a lack of innovation and improvment through the years. This started Sean's thesis topic of developing an open source software policy for the public sector. Sean's main point in his thesis are that organizations can not only reduce cost by using free open source software, but generate additional revenue through donations from innovation in technology.

Sean is the web designer for Lean Fix as well as the lead software strategist. He also takes in active role in business process improvement and development.
